About Trash Fashion

Yo listen  up people,  Trash Fashion are currently looking for a bassist and / or  keyboard player with sampling / laptop skills etc to complete their current line-up.  Management (Liquid Management), Lawyer (Clinton’s), Booking Agent (William Morris) all in place. Currently releasing independently through Propaganda Records (Distribution Sony PIAS) with Press and Radio pluggers on board.

In the past 18 months Trash Fashion have released 3 EPs which have received wide press coverage,  video plays on  MTV2, Radio 1, XFM and regional radio. Mini Album to be released in Japan in June through Vinyl Junkie. Plans for 2 further single releases in next 3 months and a full album to follow later in the year.

Trash Fashion have undertaken a 2-week tour in the States and played extensively in Europe and around the UK in 2007/8 (over 100 dates) – including profile shows at the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, In The City, German Tour, Italian Tour, Supporting Faithless at NIA with further dates confirmed in Europe and Moscow in the coming month.

Shows are currently being booked for the UK, Europe, Japan, America (east and west coast), Australia and New Zealand over the Summer with many high profile shows in the pipeline for the rest of 2008 and beyond.

Ideally you will be 20 -25, be competent with your instrument and have your own equipment.  If you’re capable of backing vocals even better as vocal harmonies play a big part in the TF sound.  To be based in London would be a big advantage for rehearsing, as would a driving licence and transport.
