Hello!

I am a singer in a band looking for a drummer. Yes you heard me, we already have a keyboard player, a guitarist and a bass player, we only need a drummer now because we want to record and get our original material out there with something else than a stupid soulless drum machine.
We are looking for someone who is brilliant but not too much of a meglomaniac so we can get along with him/her, but also someone who will add their personality into the mix, not just keep to the beat (actually if you were the reincarnation of Keith Moon without the destructive tendencies it would be perfect, but we are not perfect either).

Our aim is to put together a demo cd and get some gigs around Southampton. Long term goal to probably get a regular slot at the joiners or the talking heads. As previously said, we have some original material recorded. It has not been yet rehearsed (what would be the point in spending money on rehearsal studios if we don;t have the key drummer) but there is still plenty more when it came from. The only thing holding us back is the lack of a drummer (and maybe YOU can change that) and time in general. I also have contacts that are ready to help us build a website to distribute and promote our music (none of that myspace nonsense).

Influences: very diverse between all of us. Exhaustive list includes: The Who, Led Zep, Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, Guns N Roses, Metallica, Mansun, Bowie, Tori Amos, and many many more...(yet we don't necessarily sound like classic rock and we are moving FORWARD).
