About Swifty

The cast of Backbeat (Duke of York's Theatre) need a drummer to complete a 50's/60's cover band for immediate gigging.
Between us, we have 25 years of gigging experience, and previous original outfits we have been involved with have had record contracts and radio and television exposure.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic and creative, with a love of rock and roll, and a passion for live performance.
We are between 25 and 27, but there are no age limits lower or upper, as long as you have the right skill level and love of the music.
