About Highdrant

Hello, we are HighDrant, a (would-be) 5-piece Hard Rock band from the south-east London/ Kent area. (www.facebook.com/highdrant) We recently parted ways with our singer due to him moving away, making meeting up and gigging a logistical nightmare. We are now looking for a new singer to join as a permanent member of the band. Our music ranges from a classic rock 'n' roll, Zeppelin-esque sound to a more modern, grungy and alternative feel. Bands and artists that we count as influences range from Metallica and The Ramones through to bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, even newer bands like the Arctic Monkeys (first album) and older acts like James Brown. We are not looking for a sound-alike of our previous vocalist, just someone who has a good voice with some unique qualities, has an interest in creating music and enjoys playing live. Our ages range from 22-26, we would be keen to get someone of a similar generation, but that's not essential. We are all fairly laid back, yet ambitious and serious about what we do. We have done a lot of gigging in our native south east London area, and have also made quite a few contacts in the Camden area after gigging there over the last few months.
