About Wearetheafterglow

We Are The AfterGlow is the brainchild of songwriter & frontman AndyK. Formed in the spring of 2007 with the intention of creating music 'to make you wanna live your life again'... With melody, harmony & chord structure being the foundations of this beautiful music, it ignites the soul of its listeners. 'We Are The AfterGlow' has had more members, pound for pound, than Hawkwind, some more long term than others, and some more integral than others, but have now found the right blend of musicians to fullfil the potential within the songs. Musical influences range from QOTSA to MC5 via Kings of Leon & RHCP. Lyrical influences include the works of John Frusciante, Nick Cave, Billy Bragg & S*M*A*S*H If you've seen this band live you know they're good... if not expect anything... They vere from a brutally beautiful powerhouse of aggression to spinning 'bitter webs of tragedy' The band are totally dedicated to their music, they have the drive and determination to make it big.
