About Ben Cruise

I have been a professional musician since 1977 up to the present day. I am 54 years of age. Most of my music career especially from the 1970 to 1990 was playing as a one man guitar performing in the tourist hotels on the Kenya coast, East Africa. The kind of venues I performed in were, main dining rooms, grill rooms, main entertainment areas, happy hours,etc., etc.Besides hotels I performed in popular restaurants, and beach bars. Towards the end of this period I started playing in bands, as rhythm guitarist and lead vocal. From 1990 to 2010 I’ve done solo slots, played in several different bands all over the East African region. I am a British citizen now living in London looking to further my music career, and promote many of my own compassions of which several have been professionally recorded. Because of being a solo artist for a long time, when I perform in a band I excel at being lead vocal, and playing rhythm guitar.

My musical influences are Rock,Blues,Country,R&B, Soul and Reggae.
