About Keeno2100

We're a alternative rock band called Aura and have recently lost our bassist as he couldn't keep up with the amount of gigs we had so we are currently scouting the market for a top bass player who will be fully dedicated to the band and willing to stick with us until we do get our break which I'm sure in time we will. The prospects for the band are brilliant at the moment, we have played the Ritz in Manchester, just over a month ago ago we headlined Academy 3 to a packed out room and after every gig we get we get amazing feedback. We are also playing the new Middleton Arena this summer, and being the first band to do it, for free as the proceeds are going to charity, with a promise of newspaper coverage from the MEN and since its booked for the end of July are hoping to find our new bassist with time before it to get through everything we need for the gig. We have our own practice studio, a VERY impressive array of gear with everything fully insured and are planning on purchasing a van this summer to make getting to various gigs easier. We are also planning to record a new EP and the Sawmills studios down in Cornwall where some of the biggest ever bands have recorded albums. Our influences include: The Beatles, Radiohead, Blur, Muse, Placebo, RATM, Audioslave, QOTSA etc. Basically we take an influence from a MASSIVE array of bands but we do delve into the alternative rock aspects a lot.
