About Mjarvis89

20 yr old songwriter from Southsea Portsmouth. I play guitar, mainly acoustic also play electric can play some lead and have a small knowledge of jazz guitar. I also play bass, keyboards, drums, learning banjo.

I'm looking to start or join a band (age 17-25 preferably) with like minded people. I love folk, jazz, blues, soul and want other members to help me play music that were all passionate about. Not looking for amazing musicians but looking for people who like having a great time playing music.

I have an image in my head of the type of band I'm looking for: Acoustic guitars, organs, double bass, harmonicas, banjos, brush style drums, cellos, vocal harmonies, any random instruments we can get our hands on. Want to find a bunch of younger people who like being in a psychedelic state of mind and jamming out for hours on end coming up with interesting, abstract and soulful music and putting on unique live shows.
