Righto, basically I'm a rhythm guitarist with previous gigging experience who after far too long out of it wants to get back into music.

What I'm really after doing is a bit of slow-and-low dirty-sounding doom, preferably with an occult/horror/dark fantasy vibe and a little tongue-in-cheek in its approach to the subject matter (I'd much rather play with good humoured horror film fanatics than seriously genuine Satanists!). If there can be a slight drone vibe here and there that'd be awesome too.

Other relevant info is that I'm 30, don't drive but can easily arrange transport, and mostly play a Jackson KVX10 tuned to B standard through a 40w Peavey Envoy 110 via a Danelectro Fab Tone distortion and Boss PH-2 Super Phaser. Not the most ideal set up but I can get a nice dirty sound out of it with plenty of bottom end. One day I'd like to get an Orange amp but that's a way off yet! Less relevant info is that I drink real ale, have killer mutton chops and am an unashamed geek.
