About Lap

there are 2 of us, we both play gutar, and sing/ harmonies, i also play piano and my band mate plays acoustic percussion, cajon drum / shakers that sort of thing. we are trying to create an acoustic band of sorts influences are, dashboard confessionals, greenday, secondhand serenade boyce avenue, yellowcard, we the kings, the staring line. just think when you se a full band strip it down and do acoustic performances, thats the magic we are trying to be known for. my band mate and i have been gigging on and off for 5 years, but now we want to take it further!!! we need a member or 2 for some extra guitar, bass, and some extra vocals, we are open to ideas but are very focused in the sound we want to achieve. we are doing covers/ own mat. we really like to take annoying female pop kinda tunes and strip it down and do a real different version. acoustic, of course with some light percussion on the cajon and crash, it sounds real good, we just need that extra input!! we have recording equip, mics, piano, guitars all kinds of percussion. we want to do this for a living not just a hobby. if you are interested in any of this then please contact us, only high standard please!!!!
