What is The Music Post?

The Music Post was created by a group of music lovers who were frustrated with the lack of free online resources for musicians. We wanted to create a site where musicians could communicate with likeminded people without the hassle of trawling through non music related social networking sites.

The Music Post is the only place online you can post, search music classified ads and contact users for free. If you have a band you can find musicians, or if you are a musician you can find a band to join. Our advanced search function allows you to search for musicians and bands in your area.

Trouble finding somewhere to practice? Need a regular place to jam? The Music Post also lists all the practice rooms and recording studios in your region.

So how does it work?

Firstly you need to create your free profile with information on yourself or your band. You can include as much or as little information as you like, but the more info you give the more likely you are to find the band or musician you are looking for.

You can then search the classified ads for musicians or bands. When you find someone you want to get in touch with simply click on the link to send a private message. As soon as you receive a private message you will be instantly contacted by email.
